This wooden church building is located in within the forested region of in City, in northeast Province. It was constructed in the 1920-30s with an area of 82.8 square meters as the Holy Dormition Church.
In 1982, this historical site has been placed under the protection of the Jinshanzhun district government as indicated on a wooden sign affixed to the outside of the building. The church building is today in such a bad condition, that if no major repair is done half of it will collapse within the next few years.
