former St Alexander Cathedral of Hànkǒu

Built in 1893 as the St Alexander Church in the former British Concession of Hankou, which is located today at 48, Póyáng Street, Jiāngàn District, Wǔhàn City, Hubei Province.

This church building was registered as a city-protected historical site on May 27, 1998. It was used as a warehouse, and until 2013 was most recently used to hold weddings. Currently undergoing major restoration through the supervision of the Joint Working Group on cooperation in trade-economic and humanitarian fields of the Volga Federal District of the Russian Federation and the region of the upper and middle reaches of Chang Jiang.
