Funds from the Paschal concert, with the blessing of the Representative of the Russian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) in Thailand Archimandrite Oleg (Cherepanin), and in accordance with the decision of the Foundation Committee of the Orthodox Church in Thailand will be sent to help local villagers in the province of Ratchaburi, where the Holy Church of the Dormition of the Moscow Patriarchate is located — 100 km. from the Thai capital. Local village authorities appealed to the Orthodox Church for help. Thailand's land forces are located near the Orthodox church . All the villages in the district — except the one to which funds will be sent — have early warning systems for ground maneuvers and target practice. The Orthodox community in Thailand is planning to establish a notification system in the village for local residents.
