Archbishop Hilarion of Volokolamsk, chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate?s department for external church relations, met on 23 September 2009 with the newly-appointed Russian Ambassador in the Republic of Korea, Constantine V. Vnukov.
They discussed a wide range of issues concerning Orthodoxy in the Korean Peninsula.
Participating in their talk were also Rev. Sergiy Zvonarev, DECR acting secretary for the far abroad, and D. Petrovsky, a DECR staff member.
