On May 20, 2005, with the blessing Archbishop Aleksandr of Kostroma and Galich, Chairman of the ROC's Youth Department, an All-Russian Orthodox Youth Movement seminar, "Russia's Spiritual Culture", took place in the Youth Department for Anglophone students from China, India and Malaysia. The seminar was devoted to the theology and iconography of Lord's Ascension.
This cycle of seminars is part of the Youth Department's mission program for the youth of the diaspora.
These English-language seminars, held weekly on Fridays from 18:00 to 20:00 since February, 2005, are conducted by Orthodox students and graduates of Moscow State University, Moscow Institute of International Relations, Moscow City Pedagogical University.
