According to Harbin municipal religious archive, Fr Peter initially served as the second rector of St. Alexis Church in Harbin from 1922 to 1933.
According to Fr Ioann Du, afterwards Fr Peter was numbered among the ethnic Russian priests serving in Tianjin after the churches there have been established.
