The Holy Iveron Church in the hospital town was built for the first time in 1908 at the initiative of the capital Zaamur Border Guard District Theophan Ilyich Kurmey. This first church burned down from an unknown reason on January 9, 1922, but already at the end of January of the same year, through the labors and energy of priest. I. Arkhangelsky, S. I. Mikhailov and S.F. Lapaev's church was reopened in the barracks of the military hospital ?2, where the church is located to this day. There is one throne in the church in the name of the icon of the Iberian Mother of God, celebrated on March 31. The church is poor in utensils, as well as in vestments. According to the staff, a priest and a psalmist are assigned to the church.
The rector of the church since December 2, 1930 is the priest Fr. Nikolay Kolchev, and as a psalmist-regent since October 22, 1922 S.S. Litvintsev.
Since 1922, S.I. Mikhailov, who is still the head of the economic department of the hospital of the Chinese security forces. By his tireless labors and the energy of his wife T.N. St. Michael's Church is beautifully decorated and makes an excellent impression. The immediate assistant to the headman is S.F. Lapaev, also serving in the hospital of the Chinese security forces. The parish council consists of: Dr. A. Ya. Prikhodko, D.A. Pashin, V.K. Kudryashev, V.A. Gerasimov and I.M. Pokrovskaya.
At the church since 1919, on the initiative of a member of the parish council S.F. Lapaev opened a charitable department, the chairman of which was unanimously elected the initiator of this case S.F. Lapaev. During its existence, the charitable department has done a lot of work. So, for example, since 1929 a playground and a winter kindergarten have been developing a lot. The site is of great benefit to its parish, because children are admitted to the site free of charge and only some children whose parents are in the service pay a small fee. This year there are about 100 children on the playground.
