New Books on Orthodoxy in Chinese and English published in Hong Kong

Seven new books in Chinese and English were published by the Orthodox Church of Saint Apostles Peter and Paul in Hong Kong and the Orthodox Fellowship of All Saints of China. The series, "Missionary Leaflets", continued the three bilingual English-Chinese editions, acquainting the reader with the basics of the Orthodox faith, as well as with the tradition of the Jesus Prayer. Archpriest Victor Potapov's book, "Orthodoxy and Heterodoxy", introduces readers in Chinese and English to the basic differences between Orthodoxy, Catholicism and Protestantism. This book is in demand by those Chinese who are more familiar with Western Christianity. Two anthologies of Professor S. S. Horujy's lectures — about the spiritual tradition of the Russian world and, as well as the spiritual tradition and philosophy -- were published in Chinese and English. The book "The Orthodox Church", in Chinese, introduces the reader to the basics of ecclesiology. All these publications are designed to satisfy the interest of Chinese readers in Orthodoxy — both the academic circles and ordinary Orthodox believers.
